Art installation or just a tagged old bus? 😎🎨🚎

Palm Desert is one of the 9 cities of the Greater Palm Springs Area 🌴👙🕶️… and probably my favorite one! 💕
It’s home to the famous “El Paseo” shopping district (📸 n. 6️⃣-7️⃣), a walkable downtown area lined with beautiful shops, cute restaurants, designer boutiques, art galleries… and lots and lots of flowers 🌸🪴🌼

📌 In case you are curious, the other 8 cities are: Palm Springs, Desert Hot Springs, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells, La Quinta, Indio, and Coachella.

When I heard the bells ringing in the middle of a street lined with glass skyscrapers, I had to go see it 🔔😍.
The St. Mary's Basilica in Downtown Phoenix, AZ was built from 1902 to 1914, and dedicated in 1915, in a location that was previously home to an adobe church built when the parish was founded by Franciscan Friars in 1881. ⛪️

The church, that combines Mission Revival and Spanish Colonial Revival styles, was elevated to a minor basilica by Pope John Paul II in 1985 👌
(official name: Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary)

I couldn’t capture the sound of the bells on video 🥲… (man, how I miss that sound!), but you can hear the birds chirping in the third slide… and that’s almost as peaceful (I said almost).
