🇬🇧: In 1862, the “Homestead Act” granted land ownership to any person willing to build a house and cultivate the area around it for five years. Under these premises, in the late 1890s, a group of Mormons left Salt Lake City and established a presence in the area east of Blacktail Butte, in between what today are Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.
The 27 homesteads those settlers built close together to share labor and community are still standing today and they are referred to as Mormon Row.

🇮🇹: Nel 1862, l'”Homestead Act” aveva concesso la proprietà della terra a chiunque fosse disposto a costruirci una casa e coltivarla per cinque anni. Con queste premesse, alla fine del 1890, un gruppo di mormoni lasciò Salt Lake City e stabilì una presenza nell’area a est di Blacktail Butte, tra quelli che oggi sono i parchi nazionali di Grand Teton e Yellowstone.
Le 27 fattorie che quei coloni hanno costruito insieme per condividere il lavoro e istituire una comunità sono ancora in piedi oggi e sono chiamate Mormon Row.
